I started my career by not starting my career.
Despite graduating with a degree in advertising in 2003, I decided to take a header -diving face first into the world of financial services which promptly blessed me with the motivation needed to aim for something more fulfilling.
I was fortunate to stumble into user experience through the Bentley University HFID (Human Factors in Information Design) graduate program where I earned my MS+MBA, learned the UX fundamentals, and built a great life long network of UX practitioners.
Once back in the real world I’ve had the good fortune to work with some of the best people for some of Boston’s most exciting tech companies. From old school IBM, ad tech, consumer startups in health and fitness and…death spaces, to HubSpot, and then founding my own company in the food tech space. It’s been a ride.
When I’m not designing you’ll find me on the water, on the road, on Nantucket, at a show, standing at the smoker, “collecting” old electronics and audio equipment, and being boring with my family.
